Our Curriculum

English

The English Department offers a comprehensive college preparatory program in the study of all language arts: writing, literature, vocabulary, grammar, research, and speech. All course outcomes include the development of critical thinking, reading, and writing skills. Each course incorporates a variety of both fictional and nonfictional works while emphasizing the strong connection between reading and writing.
